Hello. Long time. Is this still on?
Today this bread was baked in the oven. I baked it while avoiding my social media feeds. It didn't show much promise during the slow rise, but its metamorphosis in the oven was magical. This lovely multi-grain sourdough loaf with dramatic upturned peaks has a light crispy skin that crackles when squeezed. i'm doing a residency at the edinburgh sculpture workshop. got here 6 days ago. beautiful new building. amazing people and suddenly, blue skies after 4 days of pouring rain. now there's stunning landscape and light. the photo above was taken about a 10 min walk from where i'm staying. wah!
